We care about your privacy and we want to be straightforward about how we handle your data. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. Who we are

Tradebookr is an online booking platform for UK tradespeople. We provide a shareable booking page so tradespeople can receive job requests from customers without back-and-forth phone calls or messages.

2. What information we collect

When you sign up as a tradesperson:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your business name and phone number
  • Your profile details such as bio, services, availability, and logo
  • Payment information. Card details are processed by Stripe and we never see or store them.

When a customer submits a booking request through your page:

  • Customer name, email, and phone number
  • Job description and address
  • Preferred booking date and time

We also collect basic usage data to help us improve the service, such as which pages are visited most often. We do not use advertising trackers.

3. How we use your information

We use your data to:

  • Provide and operate the Tradebookr service
  • Send booking notifications and reminders to you and your customers
  • Process your subscription payment
  • Send you important account-related emails
  • Improve and develop the platform

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Third parties we work with

We use a small number of trusted services to run Tradebookr:

  • Stripe (stripe.com) handles all payment processing. Stripe is PCI DSS compliant and never shares your card details with us.
  • Supabase (supabase.com) provides our database and authentication infrastructure. Your account data is stored securely on Supabase servers.
  • Resend (resend.com) delivers transactional emails such as booking confirmations and account notifications.

Each provider has their own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them if you have concerns.

5. How long we keep your data

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account and request data deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Booking records may be kept for up to 6 years for legal and financial compliance purposes.

6. Your rights under UK GDPR

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct any inaccurate information
  • Delete your data (right to erasure)
  • Portability to receive your data in a common format
  • Object to how your data is being processed
  • Withdraw consent at any time

7. Cookies

Tradebookr uses essential cookies only. These keep you logged in and remember your session. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
